11/14/2022 0 Comments Fire pro wrestling world caws![]() ![]() The crappy Xbox Live Arcade Avatar Fire Pro game from 2012 doesn't count. I would put Fire Pro R right along side No Mercy, Here Comes the Pain and Day of Reckoning 2 as the Mount Rushmore of wrestling games. It's been over 10 years since a new Fire Pro game has been released for consoles and fans of the series have been begging for the series to return once again. It's just as fast and fun as pro wrestling games from the 2000's, which I assume a lot of people would consider the golden age of wrestling games. Fire Pro is the most pure professional wrestling simulator around but just because it's a simulator doesn't mean it's not fun. The reason Fire Pro in my opinion is the greatest wrestling series ever made is because they have been able to do something that no other wrestling game in history has done and that is to accurately simulate real wrestling matches and translate them into videogame form. Please SUBSCRIBE to my GamesNew2Me video game YouTube channel. I plan to make a video about it but it wouldn't be fair to slam it as it seems to be in early access stage of things. Controls seemed a bit iffy but I haven't really dived into it yet. I just bought this last night on Steam, haven't had a chance to do more than take a glance. "Although Candide himself recognizes that it is absurd to do so, he dwells on the condition of man." - Voltaire That 10 minute match was about as good as anything I've seen in a long time. Someone posted a match of a modded AJ Styles and a modded CM Punk. I remember I got a ROM and Emulator just to play Fire Pro Wrestling X for the SNES and it was one of the greatest games I ever played. Right now they are doing a Steam early access gimmick but once it is available on PS4, my life as we know it will cease. Haven't been a video game guy in a long time, but I would seriously think about buying a system just to play this game. "Adversity introduces a man to himself." - Arn Anderson No word on the PS4 pricing yet, but I assume it will be higher than $20 too. The price will eventually be higher when it's out of EA. If you get it on Steam now while it's still in Early Access, it's only $20. Since there is no Early Access on PS4, I'm guessing that version will be "complete" right out of the gate. Still, I'm sure there are issues and areas to nitpick. ![]() There is already a save file on Steam though to circumvent that.īecause the game is still in Early Access, there are bugs and features that still needed to be added. This FPW is different in that you have to play through Mission mode to unlock all of the moves for the CAW. There are still tons of wrestlers left to be added, but what an awesome start! So far I have Big Van Vader, Bruiser Brody, Andre the Giant, Finn Balor, and Asuka. In the first 24 hours alone, over 800 CAWs have been uploaded on Steam for Fire Pro Wrestling World. You won't get the most realistic or "next-gen" graphics, but what you do get is incredible sim-like gameplay and the best editing suite of any wrestling game series in history. If you're burned out on the WWE 2K games, these are an awesome antidote. Needless to say, I thought that was the coolest thing in the world. I remember talking about FPW Returns at the time right here on WCW with none other than The Blue Meanie. It's the first new Fire Pro Wrestling game in TWELVE years - since Fire Pro Wrestling Returns on PS2 (re-released digitally on PS3 as a "PS2 Classic" a few years back). Is anyone here familiar with the Fire Pro Wrestling video game series?įire Pro Wrestling World just came out on Steam in Early Access and it's coming soon to PS4.
